Marriage and Money!
Hello Everyone! I want to say a big thank you for the people who commented on the last blog topic of "Waiting Until Marriage: For Intimacy." We have posted some of the comments below! I encourage you to read them in your spare time. I love and admonish other cultures especially the West Africans because they take marriage seriously! But NOW I am wrapping up this month theme on relationships with the question of finances! How important do you feel money is in a relationship? What if the other person makes a significant amount more than their partner? What if the women earns more than the man? What if there are debts on both sides while entering into the marriage? Do you feel that money should dictate when or if you get married and also do you feel people spend too much on the wedding and not in the preparation of the marriage itself "IE" the rent or mortgage? Please respond as we are interested in your point of view.

"It seems easier said that done. How do you resist the urge of intimacy, when you are in Love with your bf/gf? It's an act that was instituted by God, so it is only natural when you have a romantic feeling for someone else - you are drawn to the "bedroom". So our only choice will be to never date and just jump into marriage? "
And another comment by Pastor Ayo of Milton Keynes reads:
"According to Hebrews 13:4 ''Marriage is Honorable in all, and the marriage bed undefiled; but whore mongers and adulterers God will judge''[KJV] Simply put, don't have sex before marriage.It is not acceptable to God and sensible to man considering the consequences; all related sexually transmitted diseases, AIDS/HIV;the woes of aborting unwanted pregnancy and if you survive all that consider your wedding night, is there any thrill to look up to or just another routine sex with you and your husband another sex partner. No wonder marriages ends when it had just began. Ladies, if you give him the milk for free; He won't buy the cow.He will worship you forever if he marries you a virgin, morality teaches that too."
