Biography
Trina Sharifa Cuff is a 5-time nominated gospel evangelist from Philadelphia. Anointed with the gift to blend classical, jazz, R & B, and soul with the spreading of the good news! Trina has been strongly influenced by the Philadelphia sound and has successfully recorded four albums. The first Finish the Race, then Spirit, It's You, and her most recent release entitled Listening. Listening the single was number #13 on Gospel USA indie charts and Lift You Up ft. Kristina Pruit reached number 8! It's You, the single from the same album name is still very popular with many secular and Christian radio stations and reached number #2 in the UK Soul charts back in 2011.
Trina Sharifa Cuff has spent many years singing in Europe, especially in the London churches such as RCCG Jesus House and KICC! After she visited England back in 1997, London soon became the center for all her international contacts. She has also sung in Holland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Ghana and many Nigerian churches such as This Present House with Tony Rapu and Guiding Light Assembly. In many places she is just known by the name, Sharifa.
Trina sung her first solo at age five in a local Philadelphia Church of God In Christ ministry however, she did not dedicate her musical gifts solely to God until she was in her early 20's after hearing such artist like Carman and Yolanda Adams.
Trina has been a blessing to many and uses her musical gifts to help address everyday issues that the youth face. In the past she has created events for the youth called Youth Explosion in London and has also produced seasonal TV gospel programs for the youth on OBE TV called Gospel World and Good News Vybe.
Her music and ministry strive to make an impact in the lives of all people for the winning of souls!
